Skilled Helper - Liberty Steel - Peoria, IL

Location: Liberty Steel – Peoria, IL

Schedule: 2 Weeks Beginning 8.17.26

The Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next Skilled Helper teammate. We are looking for someone to help with the day-to-day issues that pop up but to also be part of the big picture and contribute to the long-term strategy of our operations across the country.

Skilled Helper Job Responsibilities:

• Clean work area
• Restock supplies and materials
• Assist with lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and workpieces
• Disassemble and remove damaged materials from the work area
• Assist journeyman employees with task-related to pipefitting or welding
• Use power tools when applicable

• Previous skilled helper experience in an industrial setting is preferred
• OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
