Heavy Equipment Operators – Amarillo, TX

Trillium Construction is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators for a commercial project in Amarillo, TX.

Job Duties

• Excavating and trenching for underground electrical utilities
• Digging and preparing areas for transformers, generators, switchgear, and electrical equipment
• Backfilling and compacting trenches
• Assisting electricians with trench work, ropping off new dig areas, and using tampers to pack dirt.
• Operating equipment such as Case 580 backhoes and Cat 310 excavators

• Requirements: Previous heavy equipment operating experience
• Requirements: Experience with excavation, trenching, backfilling, and grading
• Requirements: Underground utility experience preferred
• Requirements: Ability to work safely around active construction operations
