Stick Welder

Job Description:

As a Stick Welder at a barge repair facility in Channelview, TX, your primary role will involve proficiently using 5/32 6011 SMAW and 1/8" 7018 SMAW electrodes. You will be required to perform vertical up and overhead welding tasks to repair and maintain barges in the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Weld using 5/32 6011 SMAW and 1/8" 7018 SMAW electrodes on barge repair projects.
• Perform vertical up and overhead welding techniques as necessary.
• Repair and maintain barge structures to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure the integrity and quality of welds are in accordance with safety and industry standards.

• Proficiency in stick welding with 5/32 6011 and 1/8" 7018 SMAW electrodes.
• Experience in vertical up and overhead welding positions.
• Ability to perform welding tasks on barge structures.
• Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
• Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Working Hours: 60+ hours per week
