Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Texas Licensed Industrial Journeyman Electricians for projects located in or around Forney, TX. Job Scope:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including motors, control circuits, and power distribution equipment
- Install and maintain electrical panels, wiring, breakers, disconnects, and conduit
- Perform lockout/tagout procedures and verify zero energy before work begins
- Identify, isolate, and safely discharge stored energy systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and wiring drawings
- Use meters and test equipment to diagnose issues and verify repairs
- Maintain awareness of electrical hazards and address unsafe conditions
- Follow NFPA 70E, NEC, and OSHA requirements
- Train and mentor technical operators on safe electrical practices and basic troubleshooting
- Review and revise SOPs to align with current safety and electrical standards
- Complete assigned work while following established procedures and safety requirements
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License (TDLR) or qualifying reciprocal state license
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience
- Strong understanding of power distribution systems
- Experience with lockout/tagout procedures and stored energy hazards
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, and OSHA requirements
- Experience safely working around energized equipment when required
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong commitment to safety and procedural compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial manufacturing environment
