General Responsibilities

Primary Duties
- Set stops on machine beds, change dies, and adjust components such as ram or power press for successive passes.
- Operate various presses and machinery including power press, hydraulic press, and arbor press according to specifications.
- Install, align, and secure gears, dies, and fixtures using gauges, templates, feelers, shims, and hand tools.
- Plan operation sequences based on knowledge of metal properties.
- Inspect workpieces for defects, measure dimensions and weight using micrometers, templates, and scales.
- Select and position die sets into machines utilizing hoists, cranes, measuring instruments, and hand tools.
- Monitor and control machine operations to ensure proper functioning.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and make adjustments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status and issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with an Accurpress Brake ETS 3000 Control.
- Mechanical knowledge of machines, tools, repairs, and maintenance.
- Ability to lift and handle objects weighing up to 50 lbs multiple times daily.
- Standing for long periods, repetitive motion, and physical dexterity required.
- Must be able to operate equipment such as presses, hoists, and measuring devices.
- This on-site role requires mandatory overtime as per production demands.
- Dress code includes safety work boots, safety glasses, and appropriate workwear; no casual attire allowed.
