Job Description
Traveling JW Electricians with any valid state licenses.
Work Week: Monday-Saturday 10 Hours per Day = 60 Hours/Week
Weekly Compensation Breakdown:
- 40 Regular Hours: $1,720.80
- 20 Overtime Hours (1.5x): $1,290.60
- Per Diem (6 days): $600.00
- Incentive Pay: $650.00
- Total Gross Weekly: $4,261.40
Per diem: $100/day weekdays + $150 incentive pay weekends.
Day in the Life
Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to local and national electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions or equipment failures on-site.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Must be able to bend and install pipe
- Proficient in bending conduit
- Plan layout and installation of electrical systems for construction or renovation projects.
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on electrical components and systems.
- Test electrical systems using specialized tools (voltmeters, oscilloscopes, ammeters, etc.).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure timely and accurate work completion.
- Document all work performed, including repairs, replacements, and system updates.
- Adhere to all relevant safety procedures and industry regulations.
- Provide field reports and recommendations for system improvements or upgrades.
Requirements
- Traveling JW Electricians with any valid state licenses
- Must have experience with new electrical installs
- Experience in large-scale commercial and industrial projects (data centers, distribution centers, battery plants)
- Data Center experience a plus
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Trade school diploma/certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years industry experience in field settings
- Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Open to learning new skills and willingly accepts feedback for continuous improvement
- Dedicated team player with strong customer service orientation
- Journeyman License or Documented 12,000 Hours
- North Dakota State license or reciprocating license required
- OSHA 10 certification required
