Job Description

Job Title: Commercial Carpenter Location: Spartanburg, SC Pay: $25.00 per hour Per diem: $100.00 per day worked Duration: 1 year or more Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 13 days on and 1 day off Start date: ASAP Responsibilities: - Accurately measure and cut metal framing for installation - Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation of studs - Perform drywall hanging as part of a team - Hang walls, top-outs, ceilings, and insulated metal panels - Inspect framing surfaces and materials for imperfections and mark items for repair - Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area - Use all required hand and power tools - Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • - 3 or more years of experience with metal stud framing and drywall installation
  • - Knowledge of all required hand and power tools; must have own hand tools for work required
  • - Experience with commercial drywall boards
  • - Ability to make accurate measurements using tapes, squares, straightedges, and similar tools
  • - Ability to work without direct supervision and maintain productivity
  • - Must consent to and pass a background check and drug test
  • - Must adhere to onsite safety and PPE guidelines at all times
  • - Must have reliable transportation and be available for the stated work hours
