Job Description
The Systems Group is hiring a Skilled Helper for industrial work in Ahoskie, North Carolina.
Location:
Ahoskie, NC (Hertford)
Pay:
$24.00 per hour
Schedule:
40 hours per week, 5/8s
Responsibilities:
- Clean the work area
- Restock supplies and materials
- Assist with lifting, positioning, and securing materials and workpieces
- Disassemble and remove damaged materials from the work area
- Assist journeyman employees with tasks related to pipefitting or welding
- Use power tools when applicable
Requirements:
- Previous skilled helper experience in an industrial setting preferred
- OSHA-approved Met-Guard boots required; annual company allowance provided
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to work safely and productively in an industrial environment
