Job Description

Mullins Mechanical is hiring Apprentice or Journeyman Electricians for commercial electrical work in Phoenix, Arizona. Location: Phoenix, AZ Pay: $28.00 to $42.00 per hour Per diem: $110.00 per day Schedule: 50 hours per week Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and repair issues in commercial electrical systems - Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision - Plan and perform installation and maintenance of lighting systems, lighting controls, switchgear, branch and feeder installations, motors and motor controls, and device installations - Read and interpret blueprints, details, one-line diagrams, installation manuals, and specifications - Install electrical systems in accordance with project specifications, company standards, and NEC requirements - Manage, track, and order materials needed for assigned installations or service work - Apply electrical theory to daily work - Communicate professionally with customers to understand and resolve electrical issues - Coordinate with office staff regarding scheduling, material ordering, job progress, and project tracking - Follow all job site safety procedures, company policies, and applicable OSHA requirements - Demonstrate advanced knowledge of NFPA 70E arc flash and hot work procedures Qualifications: - Minimum 1 year of experience as an Apprentice Electrician - 5 to 10 years of experience preferred for Journeyman Electrician candidates - Previous electrical service and maintenance experience preferred - Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude - Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe work practices - Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code - Knowledge of electrical materials, components, equipment, systems, layout, and installation methods - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and written specifications - Ability to review and understand construction schedules - Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations - Ability to pass a background check - Electrical apprenticeship, accredited electrical training program, or equivalent work experience preferred - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent training required - OSHA 10 certification preferred - Ability to safely lift and carry at least 50 pounds unassisted Physical requirements: - Ability to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed - Ability to work in person at assigned job sites - Ability to perform physical duties commonly required in commercial electrical work Benefits: - 401(k) - 401(k) matching - Health insurance - Dental insurance - Vision insurance - Life insurance - Paid time off - Professional development assistance - Referral program - Tuition reimbursement

Requirements
